Experiences from the 2019 EducateforLife and recommendations for new Sprint participants
The community came together again to hear experiences and recommendations shared by Justyna and Jabeen who both played key roles in our 2019 Sprint. What should you consider as a Sprint participant to get the most out of your Sprint experience, or rather -to get an exceptional Sprint experience with max impact from your efforts? Watch this session if you are joining our Sprint or considering to do it!
EducateforLife Awake 2020
When technologies become digital, they "jump on the back" of Moore's Law and begin the doubling patterns of their price/performance. When each of these doubling technologies begin to converge, whole new opportunities emerge. Our populations to large extend already depend on technologies and in Education it has helped us get instant access to knowledge worldwide. With close to 10bn people on our planet by 2050, better education has to be available to all -and it must be affordable so we can all collaborate to solve the challenges we are facing in our world. Join our 10-week Sprint to design the future of Education -and it begins right here in this Awake session.
Designing for exponential impact in Educational systems where "the immune system is down" right now.
11.March 2020, the EducateforLife community session covered discussions on topics such as Core vs Edge business models for the education systems, trust & privacy, avoiding the chase for funding too early in the Sprint process at the risk of not being clear enough on the problem we are solving AND the key impact on human beings that we need to consider when designing our new Sprint initiatives in the coming weeks and months. The Corona outbreak is disrupting the educational services at large scale and this is an extreme challenge as well as a call-to-action for us. Our Sprint may have the perfect timing to bring value to children and adult learners here on short term.
